As you are no doubt aware, we were recently advised by NB Power that they are ceasing negotiations with Maritime Iron on our proposed Belledune Iron Processing Facility. To say this came as a surprise to us is an understatement.

June 5, 2020, Toronto - Maritime Iron is surprised and disappointed that NB Power has informed us that they have ceased negotiations on an agreement to bring such an important project with over $1 billion in economic benefits to New Brunswick. This has occurred despite continued positive progress that has already resolved most challenges to date.

May 14, 2020, Toronto - Maritime Iron Inc. in partnership with local Chambers of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of supply chain information sessions across New Brunswick.

January 20, 2020, Toronto - Maritime Iron Inc. is pleased to announce that its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the proposed merchant pig iron production facility in Belledune, New Brunswick has been publicly registered by the New Brunswick Department of Environment and Local Government (NBDELG).
