Maritime Iron Inc. is planning to submit an
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report
proposing the development of an iron processing facility
in Belledune, New Brunswick
Maritime Iron is introducing environmentally responsible innovative technology to produce solid iron ingots. This will be the only facility of its kind in North America and will be able to supply almost 30% of the pig iron required by electric arc furnace steelmakers in the USA.
Join us to learn more about this $1.5 billion investment in the people and economy of New Brunswick. Topics will include an overview of the facilities, technology, environmental benefits, regulatory oversight, and job opportunities.

Maritime Iron Inc. is a privately-owned Canadian development company advancing an environmentally responsible merchant pig iron production facility in Belledune, New Brunswick, Canada. Maritime Iron’s project will produce approximately 1.5 million tonnes annually, of high-quality pig iron for sale to steel mills and foundries in North America and Europe.
